    The hotel was a great base for enjoying a good area, near specially those at Long Beach as well as laid back Koh Lanta. The room was neat and stylish with a shower and my experience was really really nice. Enjoyed their cold drinks, served in the swim-up bar🙂🙂

    The staff were friendly and always attentive! I loved the amazing views from my room and the tranquil ambiance made for a perfect getaway.

    The dining options felt a bit repetitive and lacked variety, while the service at the bar was noticeably slow at times.

    beautiful resort with amazing wildlife

    The location is fine, with easy access to nature where we spotted various wildlife, including kingfishers and hornbills. Particularly Wisinee and Ning, provided really good service. The Avani Superior Sea View Room offered amazing views, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep.

    The spa treatments were decent but not up to the expectations of a 5-star resort.

    Individual attention and care. I felt like I had friends and family taking care of me.

    I would like to recommend tasteful clothes drying racks on the decks so that people didn't have to hang their wet clothes over the railing. The hotel might also want to look at some type of recyclable water bottle for 'green' guests. There are a lot of water bottles consumed.

    Its a luxury hotel, with nice rooms and swimming pools, nice views, a good place for relaxation. We enjoyed our stay, and loved our sea view room with separate balcony and sofas in it. Also there is a hotel shuttle which picks you from ant to your room while wandering around the hotel - that was cool.

    But its quite expensive - and it should be as its a luxurious place. Nevertheless - there was slight canalization smell by the pool beds at some places, pool wasn't always too clean, shuttle bus facilities were usually late to pick you up from the city. Also hotel is relatively old - its obvious that once it was a really new and super luxurious place, but now you can see that snorkeling equipment is old and sometimes broken, paint in the rooms and swimming pool are not fresh, TV set is huge - used to bee cool 10 years ago. Also there is no proper beach around the hotel. Proper beach is 15 mins walk from hotel, the next to the hotel sea access points are very rocky and not suitable for swimming.

    The sprawling grounds blend seamlessly with lush greenery. The pool access from our room gave us a private retreat for quick dips without the need to trek to a crowded pool area.

    The private beach area is quite small and rocky, limiting sunbathing opportunities, which might not be ideal for everyone. Expect a bit of a hike for meals or recreational activities, as the layout requires using buggies to navigate from your room to the main facilities, which can disrupt the flow of your day. Some parts of the hotel carried unpleasant odors, and certain amenities, like the gym equipment, seemed outdated and in need of attention.

    Excellent hotel suited on a perfect location. From our balcony we had a 270 degree view of the sea and a view on the pool. Hotel was very quiet (I believe this was because a lot of people took diving lessons and left very early and returned late). Very friendly staff that will try their hardest to make you feel comfortable. Free shuttle service to Saladan where a lot of restaurants are situated and from where you can hire boats that bring you to the surrounding islands. For 350 baht you can hire a motorscooter at the hotel (280 baht in Saladan), an excellent way to explore the island.
